Bellator 49 – Main Card
This was my first experience photographing at Bellator. The promotion puts on a fantastic show, and somehow manages to do so with more frequency than any other promotion in the world. Every fight is entertaining to the end and every fighter is deserving of their opportunity in the promotion. It is always exciting being cage side at one of the best promotions in the world, but as big as Bellator is, they are such a pleasure to work with and so accessible for a photographer such as myself. I hope to continue incorporating their shows and the opportunities they give to the fighters into this work.
The photos here are of the main card during Bellator 49. It was the opening of season five and featured the welterweight tournament. Seen here are Ben Saunders, Douglas Lima, Chris Lozano, Brent Weedman, Dan Hornbuckle, Luis Santos, Chris Cisneros, and Steve Carl.
